Welcome to the first post of 2010 (TWENTY-TEN)!

How I spent my New Year's Eve: On the couch with Britt in our Snuggies, followed by the frozen lighting of cheap Chinese fireworks.
I’ve decided that The Spartzine is not conducive to all of my writing endeavors, so I’ve added a page. From now on, my Journal (name pending) will be where I do most of my writing and commentary. I see The Spartzine as the portal for all of my online schtuff, and the Journal will be the best place for writing.
Now, this 2010 controversy is getting out of hand. Did our ancestors of yester-year call the aughts of the nineteens the ‘one-thousand’ somethings? Neh. So why would we call the beginnings of the two-thousands as such? Exactly. From this point onward we shall live in the Twenty-somethings and bury the debate.
On a lighter note, I’ll be heading off to JRTC (Joint Readiness Training Center at Ft. Polk) this week. Ergo, probably not too many posts in the future of January.
Stay tuned!
